Over the last several years, Dr. Bryan Schneider of Indianapolis, Indiana, has received a high level of recognition as he has worked to launch his career in medicine. He currently holds two academic appointments at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Since 2011, he has served as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Hematology, Oncology, and Clinical Pharmacology and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics. Additionally, Dr. Bryan Schneider is active at three Indianapolis regional hospitals, including the Indiana University Hospital, the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, and Wishard Memorial Hospital.
Before starting his career, Dr. Bryan Schneider attended the University of Evansville, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, graduating summa cum laude. He then moved to Indianapolis, where he received his medical degree through Indiana University. He remained at the school to perform his internship and residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology.
Since launching his career, Dr. Bryan Schneider has become involved in many professional and community organizations active throughout Indianapolis. He was elected to serve as an Affiliate Member of the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center. He sits on a number of committees for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. He serves on the Komen Scientific Advisory Council. He also functions as an Associate Director of the Indiana Institute for Personalized Medicine and Director of the institute’s Craig Brater Scholar Program. Additionally, Dr. Schneider participates in many state and national medical associations. He serves as a reviewer for several publications, and has been widely published.
