Blink-182, Lil Wayne coming to Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre
The rapper and pop-punk trio have tour dates planned together all across the country. Blink-182 and Lil Wayne will come to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on July 26, 2019. (Courtesy of Randall Slavin) On the surface, it doesn't make much sense. A Blink-182/Lil Wayne co-headlining tour? A pop-punk trio and a hip-hop legend on the same stage on the same night? In 2019? What? But the more you think about it, the more it makes sense.

After bullying, St. Petersburg teen stumbles on a purpose, and the perfect viola
Published September 1 2016 From the first days of middle school, the bullies at John Hopkins in St. Petersburg were cruel. They teased him because he had worn-out shoes. He didn't understand why. You just put on shoes and walk in them. What is the big deal? They said he looked like the cartoon kid in Go, Diego, Go! Was something wrong with that? They took his school-issued viola out of the case and mocked him playing it. Was music bad?
