Californians may know about Delilah L. Beasley. After all, she was a major historian of the African American experience in the Golden State, publishing her results in the landmark book Negro Trailblazers of California (1919), and was also the first Black woman to become a columnist for a major city newspaper when she joined the staff of the Oakland Tribune in 1915. Delilah lived a life immersed not just in journalism, but massage therapy and bodywork as well.
: Bringing over 30 years experience in workshopping, ~10 years experience as a professional book doctor for Jericho Writers, and ~4 years experience in professional editing work for various publishers, what I offer is a flexible feedback service consisting of an in-depth report on problems and potential solutions, an annotated copy of the manuscript, and a follow-up chat via phone or Skype. With reports sometimes reaching ~30K words, is the watchword.
