What was your first job as a journalist?
'Reporting' as 'Laura Secord' in my 7th grade history class.
How is social media changing news?
It makes it infinitely more difficult to sort out the ethical reporting from the drabble.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a storyteller; the provider of information and the giver of insight.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Through messages on my social medias.

Why did you become a journalist?
Writing has always been my passion, and journalism, combines that passion with the topics I'm interested in.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Any piece that gave advice to, or inspired confidence in, young girls.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Actively search for positions which will give you experience and exposure.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
None yet! Given, I'm still in the begging of my career.
What's your favorite drink?
Uncontestably, vodka & grape juice
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Hanging out near the backs of my favourite music venues *~

Vogue!
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That we're all self-absorbed, vapid and catty.
