What does it mean to be a journalist?
To tell stories that serves the public and to hold the power to account
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Preferably via email, but Threads and LinkedIn DMs could also work.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
It's basically MS Word and Google Spreadsheets, and several transcription services. I also have a digital recorder.
Why did you become a journalist?
I thought it was a natural step forward as I've been a writer for years.
What's your favorite drink?
Seltzer water
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
couch or bed, sleeping
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That faith, spirituality and religion are all the same, when in fact they are related but could be interpreted differently.
