Memory Card - Animal Crossing: let’s go to the city
Every single afternoon after getting home from school consisted of running up to my bedroom, switching on my Nintendo Wii and playing Animal Crossing: Let’s go to the City. This was a time before terraforming, placing furniture outside, mayoral ordinances, Kappin’s island, and the Dream Suite. My village, Celestia (inspired by Celestic Town in the Pokémon region of Sinnoh), often felt like my hometown more than where I actually lived.

Meals to make in a flash when you're light on cash
1. Beef Ragu Ravioli First up, we have a personal favourite of mine, a quick and easy beef ragu ravioli. During your next trip to your local supermarket, make sure that you grab: a packet of beef ragu ravioli, a jar of sundried tomatoes, a jar of Bolognese sauce, onions, and mixed peppers. One packet of ravioli is definitely sufficient for two hearty portions. Boil the kettle and fill a pot with water and add your ravioli. In my opinion, it should be mandatory to add salt to pasta water.

Transforming your new room at university
Sign up to our mailing list so you never miss any future updates Image source: JC Cervantes, Unsplash I fully believe that your room is a reflection of you, so when someone walks into your room, they should be able to tell who lives there. When moving to university, my mum was so preoccupied with ensuring that I had packed all of my appropriate kitchen utensils and toiletries, but what mattered more to me was that I had my decorations.

Normally, I am used to simply booking a Jet2 package holiday, but this time round it was not as simple. Instead, it was a case of pulling up Airbnb and uncovering affordable hostels to stay in for 2 nights.
