In this role, he leads and guides various technology teams in networking, software development, and systems administration/IT. His responsibilities include providing direction, ensuring that all technology initiatives are completed on time, and maintaining adherence to budget expectations.
He also serves as Managing Partner at Imperium Investments, a private equity firm focused on monetizing energy. The firm operates one of North America's most significant Bitcoin mining projects, converting energy into financial value while maintaining a competitive edge as a low-cost Bitcoin producer. Before joining Rhodium and Imperium, he co-founded Immersion Systems with his brother after departing from their family business, BMS CAT/Blackmon Mooring. At Immersion Systems, he served as Chief Executive Officer, directing operations and innovation for four years. The company specializes in delivering immersion cooling systems for large-scale cryptocurrency mining.
The brothers owned and managed a cryptocurrency mining business in Texas alongside their restoration company. During this period, they created the immersion cooling technology, driven by the need for a more efficient and practical cooling method for their mining equipment. As the innovation gained attention among peers and competitors, interest grew from other miners who wished to implement the same process. This widespread recognition ultimately led to the establishment of Immersion Systems as a dedicated company.
At Immersion Systems, he maintained that every organization should have a clear mission and measurable objectives. The company aimed to become a leader in immersion cooling solutions by focusing on three essential principles: competitive pricing, product quality, and exceptional customer service.
Each cooling system was custom-designed to fit the individual client’s operational requirements. The company remained actively involved once a system was sold through every deployment stage. Team members worked directly with clients, offering on-site assistance and ensuring smooth installation. When requested, the company also handled the installation process entirely.
This approach reflected a belief in combining technical precision with client support. His leadership at Immersion Systems showcased a strong ability to identify technological advancements, apply innovation to improve business performance, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
While managing Immersion Systems, he also served as a Managing Partner at Palladium Mining Partners, an investment group dedicated to industrial-scale Bitcoin mining. The company emphasized a foundation built on hard work, integrity, and creative problem-solving. Its leadership team brought over 40 years of combined experience in project management, venture capital, and private equity, completing over 1,200 projects and transactions ranging from $5 million to $7 billion. Their collective efforts resulted in successful exits exceeding $300 million.
He spent more than ten years in executive leadership at BMS CAT/Blackmon Mooring, a disaster recovery and property restoration business recognized as one of the largest family-owned restoration companies in the United States. Founded by his family in 1948, the firm developed a national presence and handled large-scale restoration and recovery operations.
He played a significant role in shaping the company’s national strategy and operational planning during his tenure. He managed vendor programs and oversaw large-loss recovery projects. Beginning his career at BMS in 2005, he advanced to Corporate Director, serving from 2008 until 2019. His contributions during this time helped strengthen operational efficiency and expand the company’s nationwide service capabilities.
His professional strengths lie in capital structuring, energy monetization, and industrial systems engineering. At Rhodium, he oversees the design and development of proprietary mining infrastructure, contributing to the company’s expansion into one of North America’s most significant Bitcoin mining operations.
He has also designed enterprise systems from the ground up to improve workflow efficiency, enhance operational performance, and generate valuable insights through data transparency. These efforts demonstrate his ability to blend technical expertise with strategic decision-making to drive measurable growth and efficiency.
During his years at BMS, he received several awards recognizing his leadership and performance in third-party administration and insurance direct repair programs. His management in these areas strengthened client trust and improved departmental productivity, reflecting his consistent dedication to quality and service.
