1 Introduction In recent years, the emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance among bacteria have posed serious challenges to global public health and the medical field, leading to the emergence of numerous drug-resistant strains [1-3]. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a gram-positive bacterium and a drug-resistant isolate of S. aureus [4, 5]. The prevalence of methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and MRSA has caused many medical and health problems [6, 7].
