Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! In high school I won awards for my quick fingers! LOL!

How is social media changing news?

It delivers news faster than lightning and allows it to be seen, in many cases, happening in real time.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It means I have a great opportunity to share good news.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

With all the necessary info included, images formatted as a jpgs. as well as a short paragraph formatted to use for sharing on social media.

What's your favorite social network?

I love them all since they all allow me to share the fun from around town, but Instagram is the most popular.

Why did you become a journalist?

I did it because of my Mom, Elsa Stott. I wanted her to be able to see the world through my eyes so I wrote for her.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did contribute, for a small school, we had a lot going on!

It was an award-winning story about Max Herrick. A young boy w/ a congenital heart condition who spent a lot of time at Ronald McDonald House

What's your favorite drink?

Pinot Grigio, hands down.
