As a seasoned communications professional with a decade of experience at the United Nations, I've navigated complex humanitarian crises in Mali, Yemen, Ethiopia and Chad. My work has focused on combating misinformation and disinformation both online and offline, ensuring that accurate information reaches vulnerable communities who need it most. In the past, I've contributed to high-profile publications like The Guardian and Vice, covering global development and reproductive rights. Now, I'm embracing a new chapter, combining my passion for storytelling with sharing firsthand accounts of the challenges faced by aid workers, in particular women, as well as those of the communities they serve.
