Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Carrie Bradshaw. Not because I think she was a great writer, but because she could afford unlimited Manolo Blahnik pumps on her salary.

What's your favorite social network?

None of them. I see the networking merit, but when looking at pros and cons, there's no question: social networks are wrecking relationships

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was in the aptly-named 'go-home-right-after-school-club.' Being a solo member meant just writing for myself on my lounger.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

There are style guides and countless rules to follow when it comes to journalism, but at the end of the day, YOU need to shine through too.

When's the best time to pitch you?

As early in the AM as possible! I'm on my computer working around 6AM, and love to plan my day in chunks.
