Caroline Harrap’s Biography

Having begun her career as a news reporter and then features writer, Caroline went on to edit a weekly entertainment supplement, which saw her interview many well-known names, and then a monthly lifestyle magazine of more than 250 pages. Since turning freelance, Caroline has written for titles including The Guardian, France Today, Taste of France, Euronews and Culture Trip. Now based in Paris, just north of Montmartre, she has a specialism in travel, culture and sustainability. Also a copy editor for the Louis Vuitton City Guides, she is currently working on Rio, Singapore and Venice. A member of the British Guild of Travel Writers, the Anglo-American Press Association and the National Union of Journalists, Caroline is also a founding member and co-director of the Society of Freelance Journalists.
