What was your first job as a journalist?

Still to get my first job, slow down have just taken my first classes, but I have written for Outsports and Polare magazine

Yes, I'm old

How is social media changing news?

Social media is putting a personal story and face to news. It is also making it easier for journalists to find news stories.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Clark Kent

What does it mean to be a journalist?

For me it means I get to be myself as I like telling people news and am always really informative when it comes to news and stuff

At the pub

Still working on that

Why did you become a journalist?

It's 50 years in the making. I should have become one after I left school. Just knew it was for me,

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did some radio 'podcasts' on the Schools First XV. My partner in crime was then future Wallaby prop Tony Daly

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My article about myself on Outsports....remember I am new at this so my experience is still limited, but ask me in 6 months time again

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be true to yourselves and be ethical

At the pub

What's the best pitch you ever got?

A story on me, there's me, the only female and 600 guys playing sport. I ended up on page 3 of the Daily Telegraph, Sydney

What's your favorite drink?

Bourbon and Coke/wine/beer/champers/anything going really

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On the couch or the training paddock doing sprint work; a bit of an oxymoron I know
