Yes, I began my newspaper career on a typewriter (briefly).

Almost entirely.

How could I not go for "Sex in the City"s Carrie, who shares my name and, like me, likes high heels and is a diehard romantic?

Email, with adequate background information and a great, original idea.

A gifted dancer who wants to become my ballroom partner.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because my plans to become a professional ballet dancer didn't pan out and I was a decent writer.

No. Although I always wrote, I did not begin doing journalism until after college.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
"The S Word" (in my portfolio), because mental health is a very important issue to me personally.

To go to Cuba with a family of ballet dancers who had previously defected.

Ballroom dancing or walking the beach.
