What was your first job as a journalist?
I am the founder of CelebrityHauteSpot. I would consider that to be my first job as a journalist.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I write on it every night. There is something very nostalgic about using a typewriter.
How is social media changing news?
Social media makes it easier than ever for fake news to spread.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Journalism means keeping the public informed about important issues in the media.

Why did you become a journalist?
I have always had a passion for writing and being a journalist allows me write and share important news with the public.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school did not have a newspaper!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of my story about Levaine Bakery's famous chocolate chip cookies.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Find your topics of interest. Keep yourself out of the story.

What's the best pitch you ever got?
I was asked to review a restaurant in NYC and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Hmmm. I don't think I ever received a bad pitch, luckily!
What's your favorite drink?
Water.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Disney World.
