At my hometown newspaper as an intern.

How is social media changing news?
Social Media is sort of becoming a standard way of viewing news wherever you are. News via SM is updated quicker than any other news outlet.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means that you're able to tell how you're feeling about a certain topic in one of the best (in my opinion) ways to express yourself.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Via email or social media. Really, it doesn't matter.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My brain, iPhone, pen and pad, and Macbook computer
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter, of course.
Who do you wish followed you?
My favorite sportswriters, sports anchors and journalists.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love to write. I also would love to get into the broadcast side of things.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
If we had a newspaper in high school, I'd definitely be the sports editor.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I once did a story on a guy who died in a motorcycle crash. The outpour of support for the story was tremendous.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just write it.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime would work, honestly.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Writing about children's summer camps. I love summer camps.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Writing about a woman and a watch. It was interesting in hindsight.
What's your favorite drink?
Sprite! By far.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Somewhere around my phone or too busy doing something adventurous.
