Cat Cutillo’s Biography

Cat is an award-winning photojournalist as well as a writer and video producer. Her photos have appeared in Budget Travel Magazine, Golf World Magazine, amNewYork and her video interviews appeared on CBS Evening News. Her writing has appeared in New York Press, Seven Days and Half Moon Bay Review.

She is a dedicated storyteller, story finder and interviewer. Her niche is finding people with stories that inspire. She produces a multimedia storytelling series called 'Vermont Visionaries' for Kids VT magazine and WCAX-TV featuring role models and people inspiring kids.

Cat was the Staff Photographer and a magazine writer for Half Moon Bay Review, Half Moon Bay Magazine and Pacifica Magazine in the San Francisco Bay Area. She wrote and photographed the magazine series 'Against the Tide' and was awarded first place 'Best Feature Photo' by the California Newspaper Publishers Association in 2015 for her humpback whale photojournalism. The newspaper also won first place for 'General Excellence' that same year.

She was the Photo Editor and Chief Photographer of TimesLedger Newspapers in Queens, NY, and awarded “Photographer of the Year” in 2008 by the New York Press Association. She wrote and photographed a feature photo story on inspiring locals that appeared in the 14 weekly newspapers.

Her weekly photo column ‘Street Seen’ ran in the New York Press showcasing NYC street fashion. She was a regular shooter for amNewYork.

Cat lives in Vermont with her husband, Ross Sheehan, daughter, Remy, and son, Bo.
