Catriona Thomson’s Biography
I’m based in the Scottish Borders and worked as picture editor at The Scotsman, The Scotsman Magazine and Scotland on Sunday.
During my career, I sought out opportunities to write a range of articles; interviews, reviews, travel and comment, which was not part of my day to day role but something that simply evolved. I'm proud that I was runner-up in the Food and Drink Writer category at the 44th Scottish Press Awards for my Scotland's Larder weekly series of articles and I have been nominated again twice since. Each week I highlighted the stories of the people behind Scotland’s food and drink businesses. I also write a column about my hens.
