I primarily use Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, ChatGPT (for editing and research).

Why did you become a journalist?

I enjoy researching, asking questions, finding answers, and sharing information in a way that’s real and trustworthy.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, I did not. I was too timid at the time to put my writing in front of people.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Stay true to your style and your instinct. And press on.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Riding a horse!
