What’s up with larp culture?
The first time I was called a larper, I was scrolling Instagram Reels in CoDa. Those of you who know me know that this is not surprising at all; in fact, the more surprising element of this story was that I’d made it out of my dorm to CoDa in the first place. The person who called me a larper was actually someone who was completely justified in their criticism. That’s because the person was me.
Third annual Climate Week spotlights student voices
Stanford’s third annual Climate Week packed over 70 events into seven days, from a panel on financing renewable energy to an art gala built around climate. According to organizers, the goal was to give every student a way into the climate space, regardless of their major. Stanford will look to pick up its first home victory in two years on Saturday in a game against the Cal Poly Mustangs.

Photo gallery: Stanford (almost) upsets Washington
Stanford kept pace with No. 5 Washington’s high-octane offense and recorded several key defensive takeaways, yet ultimately the Cardinal fell short of pulling off the upset on Oct. 28. With 495 total yards, the Cardinal offense outgained the Huskies while the defense held the Huskies offense to their second-fewest first-half yards this season.
