Yes! In high school, we were given the choice of doing woodshop or typing. It was the most useful skill I learned.

Most people look at their social media feeds before reading the news. Unfortunately, some of the most interesting stories are overlooked.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I am a bit reluctant to call myself a journalist. I think there is a blurred line between journalists, travel writers, and bloggers.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My favorite app is Clickup; it helps me organize my ideas, tasks, and contacts. WordPress and Jetpack are the best for web management.
What's your favorite social network?
Not as cool or popular, but I really enjoy LinkedIn. I feel like the content is more relevant, whereas others feel like a waste of time.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I like to stretch my legs with a walk into town. I live in Italy, so you'll find me at a neighborhood cafe sipping a cappuccino.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
A common misperception is that "luxury" means "expensive". I believe luxury is found in the details, not in the price.
