Recent data conflict on the clinical efficacy of later-generation fluoroquinolones, such as moxifloxacin or levofloxacin, for the treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) that is resistant to ofloxacin but susceptible to moxifloxacin.
