Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Five new quaternary thioarsenates/thioantimonates KHgAsS3 (1), Rb3Ag9As4S12 (2), RbAg2SbS3 (3), Rb2HgSbS3(SH) (4), and Cs2HgSbS3(SH) (5) were successfully obtained by the solvothermal method via excess sulfur as a mineralizer. The five synthesized sulfides exhibit different dimensions, including one-dimensional (4, 5), two-dimensional (1, 3), and three-dimensional (2).
Syntheses, crystal structures and photocurrent responses of Cs2Ag2Sb2S5 and CsAgSb4S7 with thiourea as a mineralizer Two layered compounds Cs2Ag2Sb2S5 (1) and CsAgSb4S7 (2) were successfully synthesized using the mild solvothermal method with thiourea as a mineralizer. The syntheses of these two silver-containing quaternary sulfides indicates that thiourea is a novel effective mineralizer. Both compounds are semiconductors and compound 1 exhibits excellent photocurrent response property.
The endophytic fungus Cladosporium sphaerospermum WBS017 exhibits broad-spectrum activity against plant pathogens, with particular effectiveness against Botrytis cinerea. Subsequently, a compound is isolated from strain WBS017 as the main active ingredient against B. cinerea using activity-guided separation and identified as hybrid polyketide (namely cladodionen, CLD) using UV, MS, NMR, etc.
