Charl Wright’s Biography

Charl Wright is currently a US Showbiz Reporter for The Mirror US, Daily Express US, and Irish Star.

She focuses on celebrity, pop culture, film, music, and TV content across the three sites.

Previously, Charl worked as an Assistant Editor at The Tab UK where she ran 12 local teams whilst writing for the national site.

Charl joined The Cardiff Tab in late 2019 during her first year at university as a student writer. She also has experience working at Global and BBC News, with by lines on the BBC Wales and Wales Online websites.

Charl completed an MA in Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff University (CJS). She also has an undergraduate degree in BA Spanish and Politics from Cardiff University. During her first degree, she lived for a year in Barcelona where she studied Spanish language and literature.
