Probably not much! I still am one. Don't be afraid to reach out to those in the industry as they will be able to pass on wisdom.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

Rival student publications. It's nice to see the competitors.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That student stories aren't important to the national interest. What is going on at UK universities has ramifications for everyone.
