The emerging role of disulfidptosis in metabolic synergistic death and cancer immunotherapy
Abstract Disulfidptosis is an emerging form of regulated cell death (RCD) that is mechanistically distinct from, yet closely interconnected with, classical cell death modalities such as apoptosis, ferroptosis, and cuproptosis. It is typically triggered in cells with high expression of solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11, also known as xCT) under glucose-deprived conditions.
Regulation of immune checkpoint molecules in cancer immune evasion and therapy
Abstract Immune checkpoint molecules are essential regulators of immune homeostasis, maintaining the balance between activation and tolerance. In cancer, tumours exploit checkpoint pathways to suppress antitumour immunity and promote progression.
The association between the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology (PURE) healthy diet score and cognitive decline in Chinese older adults
Abstract The Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology (PURE) healthy diet score emphasizes six protective food groups, yet its association with cognitive decline in aging populations remains unclear. This longitudinal analysis of 3106 participants used data from the 1997, 2000, 2004, and 2006 waves of the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS). Dietary quality was measured using the PURE healthy diet score (range 0–6) based on fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, fish, and dairy.

Six-year change in high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T with subsequent stroke risk in the general population
Abstract Background The association between change in high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) and stroke risk in the general population remains unknown. We aimed to assess the association of a 6-year change in hs-cTnT with incident stroke and its subtypes in the general American adult population. Methods 8675 middle-aged adults without prevalent cardiovascular disease from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities study were included.
HBV reactivation in patients with chronic or resolved HBV infection following BCMA-targeted CAR-T cell therapy - Bone Marrow Transplantation
Abstract B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-targeted chimeric antigen receptor-T cell (CAR-T) therapy is used for refractory or relapsed multiple myeloma (r/r MM). Concern of the safety and efficacy of CAR-T cell therapy in patients with chronic or resolved HBV infection is raised.
