Ionic-Ligand-Assisted Transport in Fluorinated Poly(ionic liquid) Electrolytes Enables 515 Wh Kg −1 Solid-State Lithium Metal Batteries
1 Introduction To enhance the energy density and safety of rechargeable batteries, the integration of lithium (Li) metal anodes and high-voltage cathodes with solid-state electrolytes has been recognized as one of the most effective strategies [1-3]. Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs), composed of Li salts and polymer matrices, are regarded as promising candidates for solid-state Li metal batteries (SLMBs) [4-6].

Disuse enhances cancellous and cortical bone responses to mechanical loading by altering lacunocanalicular fluid dynamics
Abstract Disuse conditions, such as microgravity, prolonged bed rest, sedentary lifestyle, and limb immobilization, frequently affect human skeletal responses to mechanical loading. However, the precise impact of disuse on bone adaptation to mechanical loading and its underlying mechanobiological mechanisms remain unclear. Osteocytes are recognized as the primary mechanosensors within the fluid dynamic microenvironment of the lacunocanalicular network (LCN).
A systematic drude-based parameterization workflow and polarizable force field for battery electrolytes
Abstract Accurate atomistic modeling of ion solvation structures is crucial for next-generation battery design but remains challenging due to complex many-body polarization. Conventional fixed-charge force fields often fail to capture environment-dependent electronic responses. Here, we introduce a transferable parameterization workflow based on the Drude oscillator methodology to develop OPLS&Pol, an open-source polarizable force field for battery electrolytes.

Revealing the structure and behavior of confined ionic liquids (ILs) is essential for their applications in green chemical processes. Here, we explore the electroconductivity (σ) and ionic correlation of imidazole ILs confined in graphene nanochannels via joint molecular dynamics simulation and theoretical analysis. The ideal and actual σ of ILs are first calculated, showing a growing tendency and up to the bulk value as the nanochannel size ranges from 1 to 10 nm.
