Happy Valentine's Day sleepy people! I nearly moved my show day and time at the start of the semester, but once I checked my calendar and saw it fell on Valentine's Day I had to stick with Monday nights. Jazz Chet Baker Quintet Live In Liège
Certain chapters are not available. Thank you for your understanding. Chet Baker Quintet Live In Liège Sonuma Archives 1964 About This remarkable footage shows Chet Baker in perfect form. The year was 1964 and he was already well into his heroin habit, with a missing tooth proof of the life he’d been living. Yet, he was also experiencing intense levels of focus on a European tour that saw him join forces with the best musicians on the continent.
A New LA-Made Collection Inspired By Mr Chet Baker
The punk-inspired label Noon Goons, which we first welcomed on to MR PORTER last year, was started by SoCal native Mr Kurt Narmore in 2016. The brand name (in case you were wondering) is based on the name surfers give to tourists who show up to the beach at midday, making it too crowded to surf. The brand stylishly appropriates an 1980s aesthetic and embodies the ambience of Southern California’s surf and skate culture.
The Morning Routine Secrets Of Successful Men
“The way you spend your morning has an outsized effect on the rest of your day,” they write. And the tone is set from the minute you stop – or snooze – your alarm. Building a better “habit stack” – a series of linked actions, like a chain reaction – can take you from getting up to getting more stuff done.
Movie review: Get lost with jazz idol Chet Baker in ‘Born to Be Blue’
One of the biggest challenges of writing a biography is finding – or in some respects, inventing – a storyline, since life itself includes lots of interesting stuff but usually no plot. Multiply that problem by 10 for the biopic film genre, since the writer and director need to tell the story in 90-120 minutes. If you stay reverently true to the facts, you risk boring viewers, as the new Hank Williams biopic, “I Saw the Light,” does.
T.Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex): Electric Warrior (180g) (Limited Edition) (LP) – jpc
