'Boots in the Barn' Series Offered in Dallas County in February

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will offer Boots in the Barn, an educational opportunity for central Iowa beef cattle producers, this February. Hosted by Dallas and Boone counties, the four-part meeting series has been set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at the Towncraft Gallery, located at 1122 Willis Ave., Perry. Chris Clark, extension beef specialist, said the program will include some interactive learning and hands-on activities.

‘Really emotional’: Fans gather to celebrate Wolfpack women as they travel to Final Four

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – There was plenty of support for the North Carolina State women’s basketball program as huge crowds gathered on Tuesday afternoon to give the team a proper send-off ahead of the Final Four. More than 100 fans crowded outside Reynolds Coliseum to cheer on the Wolfpack as they began their journey. The crowd erupted in cheers with N.C. State’s fight song blaring, as the team boarded their bus on the way to Cleveland.

‘So exciting for our players’: NC State men’s basketball receive warm welcome ahead of Sweet 16 matchup

DALLAS (WNCN) – The North Carolina State men’s basketball program received a warm welcome as the team arrived this week in Dallas ahead of its matchup in the Sweet 16 against Marquette. Players and coaches experienced tons of fanfare from Wolfpack fans as they got off the bus on Wednesday. Head coach Kevins Keatts and company are certainly getting hot at the right time.
