How is social media changing news?

It's too fast, with no time for fact-checking or composure. Also things that are objectively not news are treated as breaking stories

Why did you become a journalist?

I'm not really a journalist, just a writer who wants to educate and inspire

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

There was no school newspaper, so I wrote my own reports on the school rugby matches (including photos) and posted them up around the school

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Take care of your mental health. Spend time in nature. Have friends with no interest in what you do. Don't let the industry consume your life
