Expert historians estimate that 1.1 million people perished at Auschwitz-Birkenau, and about one million of them were Jews.

The Resurgence of History's Oldest Hatred
During this time of back-to-back crises, Family Research Council has become increasingly concerned about the safety and security of the Jewish people, whose situation has become increasingly troubled and tenuous in the U.S. As we have become aware of many manifestations of antisemitism -- more accurately called "Jew hatred" -- discussed in webinars, publications, and elsewhere, our alarm about this evil and dangerous ideology has become heightened.

The HBO television show Game of Thrones enjoyed much critical and popular acclaim during its eight-season run. It was heralded as “the world’s most popular show,” and its series finale drew 19.3 million viewers. However, this massive success was built, in part, upon the exhibition of its actors’ naked bodies in graphic, sexually charged situations—all for viewers’ entertainment.

The exact number of people that have been killed is not known, but estimates are in the tens of thousands. It is estimated that the organ market that is generated by forced organ harvesting is making China $10 to 20 billion.

FRC Blog " Let's Make Evangelism Part of Our Everyday Lives
As believers in Christ, how much is evangelism part of our everyday lives? It’s a question that I have been asking myself a lot lately, especially in light of yet another discouraging poll that was released this past Sunday showing that over the last 20 years, the number of Americans who see religion and having children as “very important” is in steep decline (from 62 to 48 percent for religion and from 59 to 43 percent for having children).
Religious Freedom Is at Stake in Hong Kong. We Must Not Look the Other Way.
“Hong Kong needs to win this fight. Or else it will soon be like China.” This was one student’s answer when asked why he participates in pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong even as the risks increase. Pro-democracy demonstrators in Hong Kong have captured international attention and their movement isn’t fading away, even in the 12th week of protests. Last Sunday, 1.7 million Hong Kongers took to the streets to protest in the rain—for reference, the total population is only 7.3 million.
FRC Blog " Planned Parenthood Forgoes Title X Funding, Choosing Abortion over Women's Healthcare
Today, Planned Parenthood officially withdrew from the Title X Family Planning Program, choosing to reject millions of dollars in federal funding rather than stopping referrals for abortion. This announcement came after their fifth failed attempt to find a court that would block the Protect Life Rule from going into effect while litigation over the legality of the rule continues.
After 17 Years, Infants Born Alive Still Need Real Protection
Today (August 5th) marks the 17th anniversary of the passage of the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act of 2002, which declared that infants born alive after having survived an abortion attempt deserve all the rights and care that would be given to any other infant. After the bill easily passed Congress, most Americans no doubt assumed there would never again be a debate over whether infants born alive after a failed abortion attempt should be offered life-saving care. Yet here we are again.
How Prostitution and Sex Trafficking Are Inseparably Linked
This is Part 2 of a series on prostitution. Read Part 1. There is a very thin line between prostitution and sex trafficking. They are hardly distinguishable in operation, but one is more complicated to prove by law. Let’s define some terms. Prostitution is the exchange of sexual activity for money or anything of value (drugs, shelter, etc.).
3 Religious Freedom Cases to Keep an Eye On
Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that a cross-shaped memorial in Bladensburg, Maryland does not violate the Establishment Clause. The memorial honors veterans that sacrificed themselves to defend our nation, and the ruling by SCOTUS sets a new precedent for the constitutionality of religious memorials across the nation.
FRC Blog " Should Christians Recognize "LGBT Pride?"
June is back, and with it “LGBT Pride Month.” Those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender celebrate in June because it marks the anniversary (this year, the 50th) of the “Stonewall Riots,” which are generally cited as the beginning of the modern “gay liberation movement” in the United States.

77 Years Ago Today: The Battle of Midway
As the 75th anniversary of D-Day approaches this week, I recently had reason to remember the heroic sacrifices of three great Americans who fought at the Battle of Midway on this date in 1942—a mere seven months after the Japanese attack on the American fleet at Pearl Harbor. This past Saturday, I attended a wedding in the beautiful chapel of the United States Naval Academy. The reception was held nearby at United States Naval Academy Club.
The Future of Our Nation Depends on the State of Our Schools
This week the Supreme Court declined to accept a case over whether government schools may force students to follow transgender ideology in official school policies, against science and female students’ privacy rights. They won’t be able to avoid the issue for long. We send our children to private, Christian schools. Tuition is high; the financial burden on our family is significant. But we have determined that government schools are just not an option.
China is Trafficking the Organs of Religious Minorities
The boldness and scope of the Chinese government’s human rights abuses against the Uyghur Muslim population has been continually increasing in recent years. It is estimated that at least one million Uyghur Muslims are currently detained in what China calls free “vocational training centers” but in reality are massive internment camps in which detainees are indoctrinated with Chinese Communist Party propaganda.
Faith-Based Solutions Are Vital to Preventing Veteran Suicide
By the end of every day, an average of 20 U.S. military veterans will have committed suicide. Ask Richard Glickstein and he’ll tell you that there are several reasons.

FRC Blog " Under the "Equality Act," A Woman's Place is in the Bleachers
Last week, the Heritage Foundation presented another compelling panel on the impact of the transgender movement on women and girls, and its chief legislative vehicle: Nancy Pelosi’s so-called “Equality Act.” Featuring women leaders like Beth Stelzer of Save Women’s Sports and Jennifer Bryson of Let All Play, the panel examined the devastating impact that this political movement is having in the lives of real women and girls, and women’s sports in general.
