Chris Gill’s Biography

I recently co-wrote the biography Eruption: Conversations With Eddie Van Halen (Hachette Books) with Brad Tolinski, which compiled numerous interviews we conducted with the musician over three decades.

I have been an on-staff editor at various music/musician publications since 1991, including Guitar Player and Guitar World. I was Editor-In-Chief of the electronic music magazine Remix from 1999-2002 and the music lifestyle magazine Guitar Aficionado from 2012-2018.

I am also a certified California Wine Appelation Specialist who has written numerous wine reviews and interviwed dozens of notable winemakers in the United States.
