Five Stock UP WRs in CFF
The most valuable commodity I know of is information. – Gordon Gekko, Wallstreet (1987) You can find a full report on 77 WRs this spring here. There was virtually no one left in the Miami WR room at the onset of the 2025 offseason. Daniels enters as a formerly productive G5 player but a guy who struggled to make hay at LSU in 2024. I just like the opportunity that presents itself here for Daniels, with QB Carson Beck coming in as well.
2025 Post-Combine NFL Draft Movers - WR Edition
The Combine mainly verifies what we see in game action, but sometimes a player stands out and surprises us. Sometimes, a player has a terrible performance, making us seriously doubt what we see. My rankings are pretty well locked in until we see draft capital and landing spots. But here are a few players making me lean one way or the other now. In a fairly lackluster WR draft group, the Combine gave this group a platform for a few standouts to emerge. Higgins was one of those.
Dynasty Stock Watch, Class of ’23 QBs
The 2024 Season is in the books. While there’s still some playoff football to help us see how players do in the clutch, for dynasty players, it’s a time to sit back, take stock, and see how players fared. Over the next few months, I’ll look back at the 2024, 2023, and 2022 classes by position. I’ll be evaluating if their stock rose, remained the same, or dropped during the course of the season. Now could be the time to sell high, buy low, or hold on to a winning hand.
2025 Post-Combine NFL Draft Movers - RB Edition
The Combine mainly verifies what we see in game action, but sometimes a player stands out and surprises us. Sometimes, a player has a terrible performance, making us seriously doubt what we see. My rankings are pretty well locked in until we see draft capital and landing spots. But here are a few players making me lean one way or the other now. A few RBs verified what we already knew. Quinshon Judkins is a freak. TreVeyon Henderson is a stud. Devin Neal is a great back, but not one of the fastest.
2025 College Fantasy Regression Candidates: Quarterback
This article is part two of a series focusing on 2025 touchdown regression candidates using data from the previous season. Although it is an inexact science, we are distilling it to touchdowns expected by yardage. The last entry focused on running backs, while this one pivots to the quarterback position.
Dynasty Stock Watch, Class of ’22 Tight Ends

Top 10 Tight End Hunting for 2025 Underdog Best Ball Drafts - Pt. 2
Just the other day, I looked at a great athletic group of tight ends that could easily finish in the top 10 in the P4 ranks. Today, we continue that look, and this time, we will use names you may not have spent too much time on. Starting with a post-hype sleeper! You can read part 1 of this article here. Otherwise, let’s get into it! A post-hype sleeper making the list?! Velling was a 2024 favorite amongst all drafters, and with good reason.
Dynasty Stock Watch, Class of ’22 Wide Receivers

Five QBs Who Are Intriguing CFF Assets in 2025
Sure, luck means a lot in football. Not having a good quarterback is bad luck. – Don Shula, former coach Byrum Brown (USF) — You might say Brown’s dip last season was inexplicable. On closer inspection, however, it wasn’t as bad as I previously thought. It was a blowout in USF’s first game vs. BC, and Brown scored only 19 points. The second game was against Bama, and he scored 14, then 30 vs. SMiss, 21 vs. Miami, and then nine vs.
Dynasty Stock Watch, Class of ’22 Running Backs

Off-Season Fantasy Questions, Part Three
We’re into the off-season, but there is still plenty of work to do on our fantasy teams. At this point, it’s about reflecting on the season, checking out rosters, and reading the tea leaves for these NFL Franchises. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll look at the biggest fantasy question for each of the 32 NFL teams. Today, it’s a look at the six teams eliminated on Wild Card Weekend. Part 1: Teams 1-9 Part 2: Teams 10-18 Record: 10-7 Biggest Fantasy Question: What happens with Chris Godwin?
Running Back Battles That’ll Make or Break Your 2025 Underdog Best Ball Season
The Underdog best ball offseason is underway. There are strategies to form, ADP evaluate, and maybe most importantly, position battles to dig into. Today, I give you five of the most important RB battles to follow along with this offseason. Five battles that, if you predict correctly, will provide you with a significant leg up this season.
Dynasty Stock Watch, NFL Post-Season Edition
The NFL Season is here, but we’ve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help provide you and advantage. That’s the point of the stock watch—to process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose value is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul.
Positional Value in CFF PT. II
Not all treasure is Silver and Gold, mate. – Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) This article is the second part of a series I started last summer where I looked at positional value across different CFF formats. The first focused on standard re-draft leagues (i.e. choose starters). I am now providing a second article in the positional value CFF series. Today, I will look at H2H’s best ball formats with waivers.
Wide Receivers You NEED to Target in 2025 Supplemental Drafts
This is our third entry in the “NEED to Target” series, with quarterback and running back coming in the last few weeks. Supplemental drafts are bound to be underway soon as the NFL Draft Declaration deadline passed on January 15th (for non-championship game participants.) Now that there’s a clearer landscape, we can identify key wide receiver targets. Starting with a banger – East Carolina freshman breakout Yannick Smith.
Five Takeaways from the First 2025 Campus2Canton Mock Draft
The first mock of the season in Campus2Canton leagues is always fascinating because of the unknown. We, as drafters, think it should go a certain way, but in a format where almost no consensus exists, the first draft can truly be all over the place. Campus2Canton startups are 45 rounds and include all FBS-level players in the player pool, including the incoming freshman class.
What to Expect from 2025’s New FBS Teams: Delaware
The Blue Hens are moving on up. Ryan Carty’s group is heading to Conference USA for their first season at the FBS level. He also led Delaware to their first back-to-back nine-win seasons for the first time since 2003-04, a significant accomplishment given how poor the prior regime had done. Offensively, this team should be fascinating. Delaware head coach Ryan Carty runs an uptempo yet aggressive offense.
Off-Season Fantasy Questions, Part Two
We’re into the off-season, but there is still plenty of work to do on our fantasy teams. At this point, it’s about reflecting on the season, checking out rosters, and reading the tea leaves for these NFL Franchises. Over the next few weeks, we’ll look at the biggest fantasy question for each of the 32 NFL teams. Today, we’re starting with the top of the draft order, looking at teams that hold picks 10 to 18.
2025 NFL Mock Draft Stock Watch: Post-Regular Season
Welcome back to the second part of the NFL Draft Stock Watch, an entire article filled with not my opinion but my spelling and grammatical errors; what a treat! Paraphrasing NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah, “[I mock draft with my ears and create big boards with my eyes].” The top of the mock drafting community mixes a heavy dose of insider news into their mocks because there is an accuracy competition.
Bellcow Watch: Leveraging Late Season Production to find 2025 League-Winners
It’s not surprising that more eyes are on the college football season when it’s closer to kickoff than winding down. In fantasy, eliminated teams care less, and players who disappointed early on leave a bad taste in fantasy players’ mouths. Here, we dissect over the last 4 weeks (playoffs included, so potentially 6) which returning running backs had the top weighted opportunity shares, in other words, a bellcow.
What to Expect from 2025’s New FBS Teams: Missouri State
The FBS division of Division I football continues to expand, and 2025 features two new additions in Missouri State and Delaware. Both Conference USA bound, the Bears return more production and give college fantasy players some viable options in upcoming drafts. Missouri State’s offense is led by veteran signal-caller Jacob Clark, a transfer-up candidate whom the Bears were able to hold onto in the Winter portal window.
Off-Season Fantasy Questions, Part One

Predicting the Second Round of 2025 Underdog Best Ball Drafts
Earlier this week, I took some time to break down what I thought would be the first round of 2025 Underdog best ball drafts. And so today, I wanted to continue that into the second round! As I previously stated, this isn’t my personal first and second round ADP but rather, what I think the fantasy community will land on when those first drafts hit.
Predicting the First Round of Underdog Best Ball Drafts in 2025
The 2024 season isn’t even over yet, but I’ve already taken my talents to the 2025 Underdog Best Ball season. There’s no reason for Underdog not to offer CFB for a second year in a row after such a successful 2024 season! What I wanted to do here was anticipate and predict what I think the first two rounds of drafts will look like when they open up. This isn’t how I’d draft the first two rounds, rather, how I think the ADP chips will fall amongst the entire community.
Four Ways to DOMINATE Your 2025 Supplemental Drafts
The 2025 season hasn’t even wrapped up yet, but at Campus2Canton, we’re always looking forward to supplemental drafts. For the uninitiated, supplemental drafts are drafts in college fantasy football leagues that include incoming freshmen and players not rostered at the end of each season. Each format has small tweaks and nuances, but these guidelines should generally work in all formats.
Running Backs You NEED to Target in 2025 Supplemental Drafts
A second entry in the supplemental drafts series focuses on running backs and some potential late-rounders to rebuild championship teams. The first focused on quarterbacks, and while the below details top running backs to draft, there will be more additions to this series as we enter the draft season for 2025. Let’s dig in. What is dead may never die. Thank you, Chip Greyjoy Tryanum, for gifting us a landing spot that oozes fantasy production.
Quarterbacks You NEED To Target In 2025 Supplemental Drafts
Despite the title, I contend it is never too early to discuss college fantasy supplemental drafts. As we inch closer to the declaration deadline, the landscape for 2025 targets seems to open up and gives us a better idea of player status for the next season. For the uninitiated, supplemental drafts are drafts in college fantasy football leagues that include incoming freshmen and upperclassmen who are not currently rostered.
Transfer Portal: The Bull and Bear Case for the 2025 Quarterbacks
The transfer portal is as insane as ever, with thousands of players already entered. As of January 9th, some have found new homes, while others are still searching for landing spots. As always, quarterback is the premium position, and this cycle did not disappoint in landing spots. Below, I’ll cover a few of the favorites for college fantasy in 2025, looking at both ends of the production spectrum. The Bull Case: The bull case is essentially repeating 2024 – and many factors tell us it’s possible.
Week 0 College Football Betting Preview
Projecting Week 0 Spreads This season I’m sharing more about my C.R.A.P (Chris Ranks All Programs) model. Below is how I project the spread for each game, some with small differences and one with a dramatic variation from the listed odds per DraftKings. Based on the data above, we’re able to identify two spreads with value and ones to target for the kickoff weekend of college football.
Underrated Offenses 2023: The UNLV Rebels
The underrated offense series last year were my favorite pieces to write. There are so few edges to be gained in college fantasy football that finding a handful could make a difference in selecting players at value and ultimately winning your leagues. The UNLV Rebels are a team that can emerge under these criteria entering the 2023 season.
College Football Betting 101 – Understanding The Fundamentals –
Understanding how to bet it is important as college football grows from a regional sport into a more national sport. It’s unique in many ways compared to its NFL counterpart, and given that, it’s paramount in finding edges and recognizing key points of differentiation. At Campus2Canton, we want to help people understand the basics of betting and how to avoid making mistakes.
The Next Great One: The Legend of Lincoln Kienholz
Pierre, South Dakota, the isolated capital city located almost directly in the middle of the state, plays home to roughly 14,000 people and a singular high school, T.F. Riggs, which so happens to possess a top-notch football team. Referred to as just Riggs by those in the know, the Governors, led by head coach Steve Steele, have won six consecutive 11AA state championships and have established themselves as one of the top programs in the Mount Rushmore State.
DFS CFB Week 4 Saturday Main Slate - Maneuvering the Chalk
Week 4’s DFS CFB action should be unlike any other we’ve had so far this season. I say this due to the amount of injuries and “battles” at key positions that greatly change how lineups should be built. I’ll do my best to point out those situations along the way and talk about how it impacts the slate.
Week 2 College Football Friday: Key Storylines
Friday’s slate only includes two games, but there are still a handful of notable players and storylines to monitor. The Golden Knights will look to avenge a loss from a year ago, where UCF fell to Louisville 42-35. The Golden Knights suffered several crucial injuries in that game, most notably former quarterback Dillon Gabriel. One thing is for sure; the Bounce House will surely be bouncing.
Freak List: 2023 Recruiting Class
This is our inaugural Freak list for the 2023 class, this a project we will hopefully be continuing in the coming years for the upcoming recruiting classes as well. @solvingfootball and I dove as far into this class as we could to find what we think are the best, most freakish athletes that are projected to play the fantasy relevant positions we all love. It’s not a short read, so sit back, get cozy, and dive in. Notes: All percentiles are based on data from former and current college/NFL players.
Regression Candidates: Running Backs
Colle fantasy production is all about systems and anticipating production for the upcoming season. Year-to-year variance makes this incredibly difficult, which is why projecting past results onto future seasons is a losing approach. One piece of the puzzle is identifying likely regression candidates – both good and bad. Spotting players who overperformed last year helps avoid bad picks at cost, and spotting underperformers gives us potential value selections being unfairly discounted.
The 411: Big Ten
In the 411 series, I’ll briefly profile four teams, one player, and one coach you should get to know in each conference. I’m taking a look at teams on the rise, immediate impact transfers, under-the-radar talent, and more. After looking at the AAC and ACC, let’s turn our attention to the Big Ten. I’ll go ahead and get the obvious out of the way…Ohio State is and will be good. Moving on… What to skip ahead?
The 411: Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)
In the 411 series, I’ll briefly profile four teams, one player, and one coach you should get to know in each conference. I’m taking a look at teams on the rise, immediate impact transfers, under-the-radar talent, and more. The series opened up with the AAC, and now, we take a look at the ACC (yes, Mike Vallerie, I’m going in alphabetical order). Want to skip ahead?
Dissecting the 2022 South Carolina Gamecocks
As a Gamecock fan, I am cautiously optimistic. We deserve this after the abrupt Spurrier resignation, the non-sensical Will Muschamp hire, and subsequent extension. Shane Beamer took the job heading into the 2021 season and outperformed all expectations for this program. With a preseason win total of 3.5, South Carolina won 7 games, including a dominating bowl performance against North Carolina in the Duke Mayo Bowl.
3 Players You’ve Never Heard of that Can Win You Your Campus2Canton League
A key part of winning the Campus side of your Campus2Canton league is finding late-round producers. For example, in 2021, these players included Western Kentucky duo Bailey Zappe and Jerreth Sterns, Utah State receiver Deven Thompkins and freshman phenom Rasheen Ali. Mostly unknown names to C2C players, it’s worth taking a stab and trying to find who can do this in 2022. 1.
It’s Time To Revisit the United States’ Evolving Posture Toward the Use of Child Soldiers
Ambassador David Scheffer recently highlighted a renewed impetus for U.S. legislation on crimes against humanity.
Week 0 College Football Draft Kings Slate Preview
We made it! Welcome to Campus 2 Canton’s week 0 college football draft kings daily fantasy preview! This column will be free to anyone for week 0. Lets grind. Nebraska (-7) – Illinois – OU: 55 Nebraska Our lowest total on the slate at 55, this isn’t a game I’m rushing to stack but I do think it has the potential to be a good way to find some values. Starting with QB, Adrian Martinez ($6,800), almost all of Nebraska’s skill position players are priced low.
Parsing an Immunity Decision at the Heart of U.S.-Egypt Relations
Mohamed Soltan, a U.S. citizen, is attempting to sue a former Prime Minister of Egypt for alleged acts of torture and attempted extrajudicial killing in the wake of a 2013 coup. But the State Department may have effectively ended the suit with its recent statement affirming that the defendant is entitled to a form of diplomatic immunity.
