Very hyper-local, before hyper-local was cool; I started out as a cub reporter at venerable Suburban News Publications in Columbus, OH

Yes. Many times. Right up until the noisy old hand-me-down contraption was stolen out of the back of my car

What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I don't always hand-write everything. But when I do, I prefer the Pilot G-2

Why did you become a journalist?
Newspaper gentry--born with ink in my veins. My great-great-grandfather took control of my hometown paper back in the 1890s
