Freelance entertainment reporter for a Winnipeg-based website (circa 2002).

Social media is instantaneous and is where most news is broken today.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
The best way to receive a pitch is through e-mail with as many details as possible outlining the story and what you expect from me.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
MacBook Pro, iMac, JVC Pro camera hardware, Sennheiser wireless mics, iPhone and Final Cut Pro.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Covering the 2011 spring flood in southern Manitoba.
