How is social media changing news?

Social media is turning regular people into the newsbreakers. With how quickly twitter works, news comes faster and with more voices.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I have scientific levels of investigation, with a stream of consciousness style of writing.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I am capable with Excel and even Photoshop. Twitter is a big tool for me to contact people for information.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I got to write some exclusive news about Dom Dwyer's transfer to Orlando City, and I knew a week before big outlets got it. That was so cool.

When's the best time to pitch you?

In the mornings. I'm at my most creative then, and I will get the most work done.
