Chef and food and drink writer. I try to cook good food, find nice things to drink and then say something about it. I am lucky enough to live in the Channel Islands, where there are amazing artisan food and drink producers, farmers, and fishermen. I hope that my writing shares some of my passion for food, drink, and hospitality.
I regularly contribute to local media, with a weekly spot on BBC Radio Jersey and Guernsey, and What's Brewing, the national beer publication. I also write my recipe blog and am launching a Channel Islands food podcast.
I love cooking ( and eating ) Chinese, Italian, and sticky smoky BBQ food, fish and seafood, and I have a serious cheese addiction. I have a bit of a thing for retro dishes, I just love a good prawn cocktail. I recently passed my WSET level two wine training and post about my wine and beer discoveries.
