What was your first job as a journalist?
I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky b/c it was freelancing for The Knot. I loved every minute.

Yes - SO gratifying!

Email.
What's your favorite social network?
I absolutely love Pinterest and see so much value in the format. I pin things CONSTANTLY.
Who do you wish followed you?
Not sure. I do know the voice of Siri (@SiriouslySusan) used to follow me, and that was super cool. 😎
Why did you become a journalist?
For me, it was part of a major career change. I'm so much happier than I used to be. :)

Something about pimple popping. I know some people are into it, but I'm a no thanks on that topic!

Cleaning my house or cooking.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That the topics are fluff. It's always important to report the most accurate and up-to-date information.
