In 2014, I joined Annahar English as an editorial intern and Beirut.com as contributing writer.

Social media democratized access to news and gave people an active role in its dissemination but also led to the proliferation of fake news.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist is to be a well-rounded human being in almost every aspect of existence.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I love well-structured, concise briefs that get the idea across directly without much ornamentation.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I leave no corner of the Internet unturned when duty calls but I also love observing and talking to people.
Why did you become a journalist?
I've always been a journalist, I believe this career is strongly tied to one's personality attributes and character.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I pour a bit of myself into every story, no matter how big or small, which makes picking a favorite quasi impossible.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
I love pitches with quirky pop culture undertones.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Stories with overtly promotional undertones or an overtly censored premise tend to perplex me.
What's your favorite drink?
Water, tea and infusions.
