Renewable energy and industrialisation: Focus on SMEs
Kenya is a renewable energy resource rich in solar, geothermal, wind, hydro and biomass with potential to harness tidal energy. Currently, 70% of Kenya’s energy is from renewable resources set up as grid connected and stand–alone power systems, placing the country in third position after Iceland (100%) and Norway (98%), among the global economies powered by green energy. Le Band - They’re the fire or so they say
Le band is a band made up of four guys, Fidel, Joel, Ken and Abe. If you haven’t seen them perform live yet, they’ll be performing on 28th May for the 17th edition of the Koroga festival. It’s not something you want to miss because according to them “we bring the fire.” As you would expect a band made up of friends to be, they are loud, fun and passionate about what they do. So I let them have a conversation with each other. I just happened to record it. On the name Le Band.

I know there’ll be no insecurity because the people who are around me are family. What albums are you listening to other than your own music? I’m actually just listening to a few singles. I go for the ones that are catchy but still have the capability to evoke feeling. You know catchy music with feelings. I don’t how else to put it.
