Why did you become a journalist?

I didn't have the patience for law school and have too many skeletons in my closet to run for Congress

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My two-part piece on the six-year anniversary of the invasion of Iraq (March 2009, The Philadelphia Tribune)

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be persistent; get used to rejection and don't take it personally; read, a lot; challenge your own assumptions.
