Christopher Yard’s Biography

The tragic deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd served as a catalyst for my active involvement in social justice and politics. Witnessing these injustices ignited a fervent desire within me to stand up for the voiceless and advocate for change. As an accomplished author, journalist, , Kappa Alpha Pi Fraternity member. I serve as the President of "The Brothers," an esteemed organization rooted in Memphis and other parts of Tennessee, where our mission extends far beyond mere camaraderie; we foster a profound culture centered on shared values. Committed to combatting injustices, we embody a brotherhood that transcends conventional bonds, striving to make a meaningful impact within our community and beyond. I channel my passion into covering a spectrum of topics including politics, Congress, and Tennessee sports through opinion pieces for esteemed publications like the Tennessee Lookout, Commercial Appeal, and Tennessean. Additionally, I play a crucial role in managing the Twitter account for Justin Gross, a District 11 TN State Representative Candidate. I am currently am a write in candidate for State Representative District 97 in Tennessee.
