Asynchronous Reaction Toward Hierarchical Crosslinking Polymer Networks
Ionogels have emerged as promising materials in soft iontronics, with their network structure playing a pivotal role in determining performance and enabling diverse applications. Refining the network architectures of ionogels through chemical design is a promising strategy. This Concept article summarizes our recent progress in the design of polymeric ionogel networks.

Microwave Remote Sensing of Soil Moisture
1. Introduction Soil moisture is an important component of the global terrestrial ecosystem and has been recognized as an Essential Climate Variable (ECV) by the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) [1].
Dynamic Surface Antifouling Materials
Comprehensive Summary The colonization of marine microorganisms, animals and plants on underwater surface forms marine biofouling. It has profound effects on marine industries. To solve the problem, we proposed a strategy of Dynamic Surface Antifouling (DSAF), i.e., continuously changing surfaces can effectively inhibit biofouling organisms landing and adhering, and developed degradable polymer based marine antifouling material.
Cartilage-inspired smart anti-impact gel with highly stable and tailored properties
DN-IHG-based flexible anti-impact composites To extend the application of the DN-IHG, we also combined it with Kevlar fabric and foam to prepare a flexible anti-impact composite via “dip drying.” The solution of the DN-IHG was brushed onto the surface of Kevlar fabric or directly infused into the foam and then dried to remove the solvent (Figure S29). 12 Wang W. Self-healing, Highly Elastic and Amphiphilic Silicone-based Polyurethane for Antifouling Coatings
Self-healing, Highly Elastic and Amphiphilic Silicone-based Polyurethane for Antifouling Coatings Silicone elastomer coatings have attracted increasing attention owing to its eco-friendly nature, excellent fouling release ability and drag-reducing property. However, the poor mechanical properties and lack of fouling resistance limits their applications. Herein, a silicone-based polyurethane with 2-ureido-4[1H]-pyrimidinone (UPy) and amphiphilic pendant chains is reported.
Surface-fragmenting Hyperbranched Copolymers with Hydrolysis-Generating Zwitterions for Antifouling Coatings
Surface-fragmenting Hyperbranched Copolymers with Hydrolysis-Generating Zwitterions for Antifouling Coatings Zwitterionic polymers gain increasing attention for their excellent fouling resistance ability and eco-friendliness. Yet, the non-degradability and hydrophilic nature limit their applications.
Non-elastic glassy coating with fouling release and resistance abilities
Non-elastic glassy coating with fouling release and resistance abilities† Fouling release coatings are receiving growing attention because they are eco-friendly, where their elasticity plays a critical role in detaching biofouling.
Non-elastic Glassy Coating with Fouling Release and Resistance Performances
Non-elastic Glassy Coating with Fouling Release and Resistance Performances Fouling release coatings receive growing attention because they are eco-friendly, where their elasticity plays a critical role in detaching biofouling.
Anti-biofouling double-layered unidirectional scaffold for long-term solar-driven water evaporation
Anti-biofouling double-layered unidirectional scaffold for long-term solar-driven water evaporation To meet the demand for clean water, solar-driven water evaporation has recently drawn growing attention due to the high efficiency and environmental-friendly procedure. For the transportation of water, these evaporation devices mostly possess porous structure.
Self-repairing silicone coating for marine anti-biofouling
Marine biofouling is one of the most challenging problems today. Silicone polymer based coatings with low surface energy and elastic modulus can effectively inhibit or release biofouling. However, their non-repairable property and poor antifouling ability on static conditions limit their applications. Here, we report a self-repairing coating consisting of poly(dimethylsiloxane) based polyurea (PDMS-PUa) and a small amount of organic antifoulant (4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one) (DCOIT).
