Jvc hr-s8000u s-vhs vcr (1988)
this machine.. seems peerless. it's got classiness to spare, cosmetically speaking, seems a virtually indestructible workhorse, and has an amazing picture quality, for VHS. this has got to be the very best of the 1980's VHS VCRs, and surely one of the best ever made in the history of the format. the JAMES BOND of VCRs, in my opinion anyway... #1 · this machine.. seems peerless.

What was the story in that episode you watched? As you are new to the show, here a small bit of backstory. DS started its run as a 'gothic' romance themed serial (yes, not all daytime soaps were the same genre, some were straight up dramas, some mystery serials). It was on for nearly a year following tnis format, with ratings that weren't spectacular. Then, tney decided to tell a ghost story in an attempt to liven (hehe) things up. I guess it worked and ratings perked upward.
DVD-RAM Protection error
#1 · I have successfully burned about 500 DVD-RAM (Panasonic) discs on my DMR-E100H. My latest order of 50 discs has given me a problem. Some of the discs work normally but half of them (box of 10) do not work. When I try to record it says, "This disc is only available for playback. Cannot record." I then tried to format them but I get the "Unable to format.
#1 · Ok, here's the deal - i've got a Toshiba RD-XS35 and I'm getting an error message that the Hard Drive's currupted and indicates i should format it to try to correct the problem. I've tried resetting the device but no good. Prob is the HD was practically full of a whole season of shows i havren't watched, so I'd rather not format the Drive. Is there any way to fix this issue without formating the drive?

DVR-640H-S Hard Disk became full and impossible to Edit
#1 · Somethign strange happened to my Pioneer DVR-640H-S Hard Disk. Not only it shows as 0 time remaining, its impossible to edit titles. Erasing wont clear new recording time. Everything else seems to work normally. I believe this bug must have appeared before to some user and its probably discussed in this forum, but I was unable to find it during a search. What causes this bug? Is there a fix? Whats its meaning, does it mean the hard drive will die soon, or is it a software problem?
