Let’s start with the puppy. That never fails, right? This is about to be so hard to talk about, and will likely be the only time I do so publicly, so let’s start with the dog. Back in 2014, when my little brother Chad was diagnosed with brain cancer, we made the decision as a family to get a puppy. Chad was only 3 when we got the news, and we knew things were going to get very tough for him. He needed a buddy.
