Archers Triumph in Road Victory Over Lincoln Land
The St. Louis Community College Archers continued their strong start to the season with an impressive 81-74 win over Lincoln Land Community College on Wednesday, November 12, in Springfield, Illinois. This hard-fought victory improves STLCC's record to 3-1. The Archers showcased resilience and composure in their first road test of the season. After building a commanding 40-31 halftime lead, STLCC extended the margin to 17 points midway through the second half.

Fantasy Football Stashes: Robert Tonyan, Jalen Tolbert, Donovan Peoples-Jones
Football is a violent, unpredictable sport where anything can happen. Injuries can derail a player’s season and dash any hopes you had for your fantasy football squad. The best way to protect yourself is always to have a plan B. That can be through acquiring your rostered players’ “handcuff” or having deep stashes on your bench in an emergency. Week 10 of the NFL season is upon us, and the fantasy football playoffs are drawing near.
NFL DFS Cheat Sheet: Picks for Every Game (Week 10)
Welcome to my Weekly DFS Cheat Sheet. If you love The Primer, my weekly fantasy football novella, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this cliff notes addition. For my in-depth thoughts on the players listed here, see the Primer for my full breakdowns, but if you’re a DFS degen like myself rifling through numerous lineups only minutes before lock, you’ll love this listicle of players I want to target for each game. NFL DFS Value Picks to Target: Week 10 (2023 Fantasy Football)
This piece is part of our article program, featuring quality content from experts exclusively at FantasyPros. For more insight from Geoff, head over to GoingFor2.com. Hard to believe it’s already Week 10. This week’s slate is another slate with a ton of missing star power. The Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins and Rams are all on byes, taking with them Jalen Hurts, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and other top DFS options. That doesn’t mean there isn’t some great plays on this slate, so let’s get to my value plays.
Will Raheem Mostert Play in Week 8? (2023 Fantasy Football)
Week 8 has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy managers is also here. Players who appear on the Friday injury report and haven’t practiced much during the week can often lead to trepidation for managers trying to make lineup decisions and/or waiver claims. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into the weekend.
Will Roschon Johnson Play in Week 8? (2023 Fantasy Football)
Johnson has practiced in full all week. He should be back this week. In a game I expect the Bears to trail in, I expect him to lead this backfield in snaps. What that number will be, we shall see. In Weeks 1-3, he played 39-45% of the snaps, averaging nine touches and 48.7 total yards. His per-carry efficiency has been lacking so far, but it’s only a 25-carry sample, so take from that what you will.

Last week, we had some excellent games and close calls for those in the Top 25. #11 Alabama was lucky to stave off a late surge from Arkansas, and the Game of the Week, #7 Washington vs. #8 Oregon, lived up to the hype. And my bank account is still hurting from the 29-0 lead Colorado gave up on Friday night to Stanford. Managing injuries is an underrated portion of succeeding in fantasy football. Every week, there are new players dealing with new injuries that create new challenges for fantasy managers. IDP Start em, Sit em - Week 2 (2023 Fantasy Football)
Thursday Night Football gave us another intriguing matchup. The Minnesota Vikings did their best to keep it close against a superior Philadelphia Eagles team but ultimately fell short. The buzz will surround D’Andre Swift, Justin Jefferson, DeVonta Smith, and Jalen Hurts, but there were, of course, some IDP fireworks, including Danielle Hunter hosting a one man sack party, taking down Halen Hurts three times.
4 Fantasy Football Hot Takes for Week 2 (2023)
Perhaps my spiciest prediction in Week 1 was a 100-yard, two-touchdown tirade by Brandon Aiyuk in Pittsburgh. Check and check. As for the second half of that wild guess, a Steelers upset win over the 49ers is not even close. I’ve held to my promise to not victory lap unless the prediction is perfect since the genesis of this column three years ago. On to Week 2. The other vow I’ve adhered to is not to water down how outlandish my takes are for a higher success rate.

2024 NFL Mock Draft Risers: Quinn Ewers & Will Sheppard
With the college football season well underway, plenty of attention is now turning towards the 2024 NFL Draft. There are players who feel like essential locks at the top of the draft such as Caleb Williams and Brock Bowers. Even though it’s still early in the entire process, it’s always fun to take a look at different mock drafts to figure out the type of buzz each player in the country is getting. From the first round to the group of undrafted players, there’s plenty to watch.

10 Fantasy Football Smash Starts for Week 1 (2023)
I usually write daily fantasy sports (DFS) articles, but we’re taking a crack at something different this year! I’ll still be providing my usual DFS pieces, but I’m also debuting this “Smash Starts” article. The premise of this article is simple, but it’s also essential. I’ll tell you more about it in the next paragraph because I can’t wait to dive into this Week 1 slate! The premise behind this article will be easily understood throughout the year.
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 11 (College Football)
Two perennial CFP contenders may be out before it begins, with Clemson and Alabama recording losses. The remaining four undefeated teams in FBS are properly ranked at the top of the latest CFP rankings. We are on our way to teams positioning themselves for conference championship games. Can No. 11 Ole Miss put themselves in a position to take the SEC West with a win over the Tide? And can the Longhorns knock No. 4 TCU out of the Playoff?
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 9 (College Football)
Week 8 was pretty vanilla. Outside of unranked LSU smoking #7 Ole Miss at home, no other ranked team lost, and no other upsets occurred. There was no change to the Top 6 in the AP Poll, and we still have the parody of all Power 5 conferences represented in the Top 10. What will this weekend bring? Hopefully, some fireworks as teams position themselves for their conference championships.
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 8 (College Football)
It’s not often that Alabama scores 49 points…and loses. Tennessee took care of business at home and beat the Tide while vaulting themselves from #6 to #3 this week. Can the Tide right the ship at home against Mike Leach’s Mississippi State Bulldogs? We will see. Also this week, Lincoln Riley took his first loss as USC head coach as they lost at Utah on a 2-pt conversion with less than a minute left.
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 6 (College Football)
Last week we predicted four of the AP Top 25 would lose. Well, we were close. Three of the Top 15 did lose, but Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson fought hard in their games’ second half and came out with victories. Due to Georgia’s near defeat at the hands of Mizzou, the Tide have taken over the top spot in the polls this week. But both teams welcome SEC West opponents into their houses, so we will see if the rankings stay status quo.
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 4 (2022)
Week 3 of the college football season returned back to normal for the most part. There were no major upsets, everyone who was supposed to win did win and outside of South Alabama giving UCLA a scare, there were no real close Cinderella games. It was more like the college football Gods decided to have the planets realign from all the craziness that we had the first two weeks of the season. Will that continue this week or will the pandemonium break loose again?
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: College Football Week 3 Players to Watch (2022)
I’m sure there will be more weeks like last week to come, but wow! Texas, who was a 20-point underdog, took #2 Alabama to their limit until a Game-winning FG with 15 seconds left gave the Tide the victory. And two huge upsets occurred, App State does it again, this time against #6 Texas A&M at College Station (see below), and Marshall takes down #8 Notre Dame in South Bend.
Devy Fantasy Football Primer: Week 2 (2022)
Week 1 was a blast, and I know we are all so happy that college football is back in full swing. Florida State somehow came out of Week 1 2-0 after a huge win in New Orleans, Old Dominion came off the top rope to stun Va Tech, and Florida had a big win against a top-10 opponent when they beat #7 Utah.

The fantasy football offseason is upon us, which means it is time to get all those rankings aligned. Below are my initial devy rankings for 2022 through 2024 NFL Draft classes. There is a lot of talent coming out of the college ranks in the next few years. You can expect a lot of movement as the season starts to take shape as we are right around the corner from Spring Games. I will have these rankings updated periodically.

Draft, Trade, Win, Repeat - The Dynasty Happy Hour Podcast
Quiz time. What does Colorado State, Rutgers, South Carolina State, and Utah State have in common? They all produced four of the top nine fantasy IDP players in 2019! For the most part, we all know the studs on the offensive side of the ball, but these days dynasty leagues are more than just skill players. More and more people are dipping their feet into the IDP pool.

In reality, the hype train was all it ever was, just hype. Draft, Trade, Win, Repeat - The Dynasty Happy Hour Podcast
There are a few different strategies a dynasty general manager can take to fill their roster. One strategy would be to buy all the veteran players so you can make an immediate run at the championship. Another could be to take a chance and draft mostly rookie players in hopes they turn into studs. Finally, you could sell everything off in order to hoard all the devy players and be a competitive team once they mature.
