Dr Clarence Baxter is a leading researcher and practitioner at the intersection of clinical science and digital innovation. His research focuses on digital medicine, leveraging smartphone sensors, wearables, and potentially prescribable digital health tools for diagnosis and therapy.

Dr Baxter is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society (FACS). He maintains active memberships with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) & IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, HL7 Australia/International, the Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) and the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA).
He is lead author in contemporary peer-reviewed international research publications in the fields of digital health, mHealth apps and the use of smartphone sensors in medicine.
With billions of digital devices available globally, Clarence is passionate about leveraging technology to realise individual and population health improvements. He welcomes academic and industry collaborations in clinical studies and commercialisation of digital health interventions.
