Construction Workers Trapped as Seven-Storey Building Collapses In Banana Island

A seven-storey building under construction has collapsed at First Avenue,  Banana Island, Ikoyi area of Lagos State. The incident happened on Wednesday around past 3 pm. As reported by Vanguard, an undisclosed number of construction workers have been reportedly trapped under the rubble, though it is believed that the building caved in when some of the construction workers on site had closed for the day. The spokesperson for the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service, confirmed the incident.
