Broadcasting and writing about business for decades. A University College Dublin graduate in Economics and Politics. Whilst there I was full time Students' Union President. I also founded my own student newspaper - Gobshout - still claiming the title of the biggest selling student newspaper. I set up a book distribution agency for a State run cultural organisation, spent a further year setting up schools that teach through the Irish language (Gaelic) and then got a job in RTE, the Irish equivalent of the BBC, public service broadcasting, radio and TV, where I became Business Correspondent. After this I spent eight years as an institutional stockbroker mostly selling Irish stocks to major Irish, UK and European investment institutions. ABN AMRO bought the firm giving me the opportunity to go back to media (PR), eventually setting up my own company, The Media Group, covering anything to do with media. I present That Great Business Show podcast (Irish Podcast Award winner) and produce The Fifth Court podcast, winner of the Law Society of Ireland, legal podcast of the year award. Other podcast titles are in the making.
