Monopoly Versus Dual-Channel Distribution With Multiple Retailers
1 Introduction How does downstream competition influence a manufacturer's decision to employ a third-party indirect channel in addition to selling through its own direct channel? Are dual-channel structures driven purely by distribution cost differences, or do other factors, such as demand characteristics and the constraints imposed by secret contracts, also play a decisive role?
TSPAN32 enhances CAR-T cell potency by assembling IL-2 receptor complex and amplifying its intracellular signal transduction
Abstract Chimeric antigen receptor-engineered T cells (CAR-T) have shown substantial therapeutic potential in hematologic malignancies, but further improvement in T-cell functional capacity is needed to optimize efficacy. We observed reduced TSPAN32 expression in T cells from peripheral blood of patients with B-cell lymphoma. This study aimed to investigate whether TSPAN32 enhances CAR-T cell antitumor activity and to explore the underlying mechanism.
Rural Transformation and Household Welfare: Evidence from Non-Farm Employment and High-Value Agriculture in China
Abstract This study examines the relationship between rural transformation and household welfare using a nationally representative panel comprising approximately 298,000 household-year observations in rural China from 2003 to 2022. It focuses on two pathways: non-farm employment and high-value agriculture. Fixed-effects estimates, supported by supplementary instrumental-variable results, show that both pathways are associated with higher consumption and lower relative poverty.
Confined-hydrogel fluidic memristor crossbar array for neuromorphic computing
Abstract Replicating brain-like computation with fluidic memristors offers advantages in energy efficiency and chemical responsiveness over solid-state devices, yet scaling remains challenging due to complex fabrication and their amorphous nature. Herein, we developed a confined hydrogel fluidic memristor by forming a gel-gel interface at the micropore orifice. This design with confined hydrogel enables scalable fabrication of a 10×10 fluidic memristor array (FMA) on polyimide micropores.
"Re-Analysis and Meta-Analysis of Summary Statistics from Gene-Environm" by Duy T Pham, Kenneth E Westerman et al.
MOTIVATION: statistics from genome-wide association studies enable many valuable downstream analyses that are more efficient than individual-level data analysis while also reducing privacy concerns. As growing sample sizes enable better-powered analysis of gene-environment interactions, there is a need for gene-environment interaction-specific methods that manipulate and use summary statistics.

Dynamic Mechanical Equilibrium of Silicon Anodes for Lithium-ion Batteries Enabled by Surface Hydroxyl-Rich Bonding
Dynamic Mechanical Equilibrium of Silicon Anodes for Lithium-ion Batteries Enabled by Surface Hydroxyl-Rich Bonding Severe volume expansion of silicon (Si) leads to unstable solid electrolyte interface (SEI) rupture and the electrode structure collapse, ultimately causing poor cycling stability of lithium-ion batteries.

Differences in Physiological Performance and Gut Microbiota between Deep-Sea and Coastal Aquaculture of Thachinotus Ovatus: A Metagenomic Approach
1. Introduction The rapid expansion in demand for marine resources and in ecological contamination have resulted in the depletion and decline of aquatic resources, which has become a severe global issue [1]. The large-scale, high-density coastal mariculture, coastal human activities, and land-based discharges are causing coastal seawater eutrophication and other environmental concerns [2].
Sparsity‐guided multiple functional connectivity patterns for classification of schizophrenia via convolutional network
1 INTRODUCTION Schizophrenia (SZ) is a serious chronic disease with unknown etiology (Insel, 2010), and severely affects patient's cognition, emotions (Couture et al., 2006; Tandon et al., 2009), and daily life. It is usually characterized by cognitive distortion, reduced social drive, decreased sociability, and independent living ability.
Single-Atom Co-N4 Electrocatalyst Enabling Four-Electron Oxygen Reduction with Enhanced Hydrogen Peroxide Tolerance for Selective Sensing
Electrocatalysis of the four-electron oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) provides a promising approach for energy conversion, storage, and oxygen monitoring. However, it is always accompanied by the reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on most employed catalysts, which brings down the electrocatalytic selectivity.
